The absence of a medical certificate or the identification of dangerous diseases during a medical examination is a reason for refusal to grant the right to reside and work in the Russian Federation.

The need to obtain a medical certificate for a temporary residence permit is established by the Law “On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation.”
