A medical examination of foreigners is necessary to obtain a conclusion about the absence of dangerous diseases. This document is submitted to the Migration Service for obtaining a residence and/or work permit in Russia. The validity period of the conclusion is 3 months from the date of registration.
What is included in the medical examination of foreign citizens?
A medical examination includes an appointment with a therapist and specialized specialists – an infectious disease specialist, a psychiatrist, a narcologist, a dermatovenerologist, and a phthisiatrician. An appointment with a phthisiatrician will require a fluorogram, which can also be performed in our clinics.
Required laboratory tests:
- Blood and urine tests (including for narcotic and psychotropic substances)
- Tests for infections – HIV, syphilis

Based on the results of the examination, medical documents are issued confirming that the foreigner does not have:
- Infectious diseases that pose a risk to others
- Drug addiction
- HIV infections
Certificates are issued within 5 days after inspection; if necessary, expedited processing is possible.
