What medical certificates are required for a foreign citizen in Russia?
Working in Russia requires migrants to undergo a mandatory medical examination. This is necessary in order to obtain a temporary residence permit in Russia (TRP), a residence permit in the Russian Federation (RP) or a labor patent. Based on the results of the examination, the foreign citizen receives an appropriate medical certificate and a Certificate of absence of HIV infection, which must subsequently be presented to the Federal Migration Service.
The first step towards obtaining a medical certificate is collecting the necessary documents for admission to a medical examination: passport or identity document, a copy of the migration card, etc.
The next step is a direct medical examination. The legislation of the Russian Federation requires that a foreign citizen applying for a temporary residence permit, residence permit or labor patent have documents confirming his absence of drug addiction and infectious diseases. A certificate confirming the absence of HIV infection is separately required. All this information is contained in a medical certificate for migrants, which is issued following a medical examination.
Note: The list of infectious diseases that pose a danger to others and are grounds for refusal to issue or cancellation of a temporary residence permit for foreign citizens and stateless persons, or a residence permit, or a patent, or a work permit in the Russian Federation, was approved by Order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated June 29, 2015 No. 384n.
Which specialists do I need to see and what tests should I take?
The migrant must obtain opinions from a therapist, phthisiatrician, dermatovenerologist, psychiatrist, narcologist, and also take a blood test for HIV infection and syphilis, a clinical blood test, a urine test for the presence of psychotropic substances, and a general urine test. In addition to this list, a fluorographic image of the lungs is required.
The scope of the medical commission for obtaining a residence permit, residence permit and labor patent is the same. A certificate of absence of HIV infection is issued in parallel with these types of medical examinations.
Attention! In our center you can see all the doctors and take all the tests in one visit.
What documents will be needed?
To undergo a medical examination, a foreigner must provide a national passport, with a notarized translation into Russian, a notification of migration registration in Orel or the Oryol region (migration card or a copy thereof). In cases where a foreigner does not know Russian, he will need a translator.
