A medical certificate from the Federal Migration Service (FMS, Migration Service) is a document confirming the absence of infectious diseases in a foreign citizen.
The legislation of the Russian Federation requires that all foreigners who wish to get a job or obtain a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation must undergo a medical commission and provide the appropriate medical certificate to the Federal Migration Service (FMS). These measures are necessary for the timely detection and prevention of possible diseases that arise from contact with people living in the Russian Federation.
